                   Met gala’s 69 th  extravagant annual fundraising event was held at prestigious Met gallery, New York.  It was a themed event and celebrities or guest were reckoned to embrace their fashion and attire according to the particular theme.   Rei Kawakubo/ Comme des Garcons was the theme of this year for both the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Exhibition and 2k17 Met Gala.  And surprisingly Rei Kawakubo was the first living designer since Yves Saint to be the solitary subject of met’s fashion exhibition.                           '' For something to be beautiful...it doesn't have to be pretty.''                                     ...
