Garnier BB Cream Review.

            BB creams gave a new dimension to makeup routine. It has changed the conventional trend of heavy foundations and cakey makeup in daily routine. BB Cream stands for blemish balm, blemish base, or beauty balm. It is an all in one beauty product that has replaced foundation, primer, sunblock, and moisturizers. Almost every brand has introduced numerous amounts of BB creams in the last few years.

            I have been using Garnier BB Cream since last one year. I utterly contend with its results, only one to two drops give perfect coverage and enhances the complexion.

PROS:

·         Unlike all the foundations or powders, it is super light. It doesn’t feel like that you have applied some heavy stuff on your face. Felt gentle and natural.

·         It gives a subtle glow and brightens the skin, without making it look unreal.

·         It has matte coverage so that you look who you are.

·         It blends amazingly well that’s why it is so easy to apply. Can easily be applied with hands, beauty blender, or blending brush. (I personally blend with hands because the heat of hands also helps to blend and set product even better)

·         It evens the skin tone, so no more patchy skin.

·         It also encompasses moisturizer, which helps in moisturizing the skin without making it oily.

·         It doesn’t clog pores. It sets on the face quite smoothly and can be removed easily as well.

·         It’s good for combination to oily skin type. ( not sure about dry skin type)

·         It contains SPF 20 to protect the skin from UV Rays.

·         It is available in three shade, light/Clair, medium, and dark. So you can defiantly find your respective shade (mine is light/Clair)

·         It is reasonably handy. The packaging is quite compatible and travel-friendly and can be taken anywhere easily.

·         It is quite economical; its price is around Rs. 600-700. So most of the people can afford this.

·         Good for women, from 20 to 35 years age.

CONS:

·         It is not really water resistant. You have to use makeup setting spray, especially during hot days. But otherwise, it goes well.

·         SPF 20 is not sufficient, especially in a climate like ours. It is not adequate to protect skin from UV rays. (Apply sunblock containing a pleasant amount of SPF, before applying bb cream. I use sunblock with SPF 60)

·         It doesn’t hide blemishes completely. So you have to apply a little concealer on those spots.

In a nutshell, it is a revolutionary product and is perfect for all day no makeup look. It ideal to look flawless without putting tons of products. I loved this product and wholly happy with its results. I didn’t even use the foundation once, after buying this product. Always remember “less is more”.
